Background

The World Mission Society (WMS) is a religious and actively volunteering society of students, operating in South Africa and Internationally.

 

The society is proactive in conducting bible studies of the Holy Scriptures - revealing the pure truth, as well as positively addressing environmental and social issues through volunteer activities to protect and improve livelihoods.

 

Vision

• To shine the Light & Glory of Elohim God, through our good deeds. To upload a gracious character and attitude among students and the youth at large.
• The power of one person is weak, but if all of us work together to solve the problems each campus is facing, the hopeful future of humanity will soon become a reality.

 

Mission

• To lead students into a godly way of life, through the absolute truth and biblical studies about the mysteries of the bible.
• Positively address environmental and social issues on campus and in society.

 

Aim

• Share the love of Christ through good deeds, volunteer activities and out-reach programmes.
• Help Students realize the Good News of the New Covenant, about the Spirit and the Bride (Rev 22:17), and the Kingdom of Heaven.
• To bring God and moral values, back into the hearts and minds of the ‘Youth’ of the Nelson Mandela University and Port Elizabeth as a city
