Mission:To prevent and alleviate human suffering in all forms and to foster human dignity by addressing the basic needs of the people in accordance with the fundamental principles of the Red Cross Red Crescent Movement.
Description:The South African Red Cross Society NMU Chapter is a student-run organization that aims to teach students how to live out the mission of the Red Cross by offering trainings on various topics ranging from GBV to childhood cancer to volunteer work and so forth. These trainings are offered by professionals in the field and students are given the opportunity to learn so that they, too, can go into the community and offer their assistance to those in need of it.
